Amaterasu Ōmikami, the bright-eyed Sun goddess of the Shinto Pantheon, is one of the Three Divine Children. She is often considered the Supreme Deity of the Shinto Pantheon by the decree of her Father, The Creator Izanagi No Mikoto. She is the current ruler of Takamagahara and is known as the divine ancestress of the Imperial Family through her grandson, Ninigi-no-Mikoto.

𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬

Amaterasu is regarded as a divine beauty by many. She has ankle-length golden hair that transitions into orange-blue flames at the edges, which she wears in a half ponytail secured with a red claw-shaped hairclip. She possesses a buxom figure, a short stature, and pale white skintone. Her eyes are a striking dark red with irises that resembles blackholes. When she experiences intense emotions, her irises become serpent-like, narrowing into slitted pupils.

Although she wears a variety of outfits, her primary attire consists of a white open-chested kimono, a black obi adorned with orange floral patterns, red ruffles, and a long red coat.

𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀

A deity of immense kindness and composure, Amaterasu embodies compassion toward all life. She is a ruler who finds fulfillment not in dominion, but in serving the very beings over whom she reigns. Calm, quiet, and warm-hearted, she possesses a welcoming presence and never turns away those who seek her company or guidance.

To many, she is regarded as the ideal model of godhood, a deity who offers unconditional love to her children and cherishes all life that flourishes beneath her radiant light. The maternal figure given form. An elegant graceful figure that most kami strive to be.

Amaterasu is prone to self-doubt and self-deprecation, often failing to recognize the value of her own actions. Rather than viewing herself as a benevolent goddess, she sees herself as little more than a tool created to serve humanity. She struggles with deep insecurities, believing herself to be inferior to other solar deities and unworthy of the reverence she receives.

Beyond her role as Amaterasu, Ohirume is timid, quiet, and reserved. She rarely speaks of her own feelings, choosing instead to focus on easing the suffering of others.

𝑹𝑬𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺𝑯𝑰𝑷𝑺

Izanagi No MikotoㅤㅤShe had a close relationship with her father when she was a young child, loving him unconditionally and holding him in the highest regard. Even when he has been gone for so long, Amaterasu still longs to see him again. Though he is also the cause of her feelings of inadequacy, feeling that she will never be able to fulfill his wish of prosperity and peace no matter how hard she tried.

Susano'o No MikotoㅤㅤA brother whom she loved wholeheartedly, having raised together both gods were inseparable. But once she was anointed as the Chief of Takamagahara, the siblings slowly became distant to one another.

Tsukuyomi no MikotoㅤㅤJust like Susano'o she adores her brother, despite his past transgressions she would still try to welcome him back in open arms.

ApolakiㅤㅤHer closest confidant, she believes no other God has understood her more than him. Having many things in common, sun gods born from primordial fathers, taking in the duty of rulers of their respective pantheons, losing said father, and having to put on a front of an imposing regal nobility, the two became closer after learning how alike they are. Their bond runs deep, beyond frienship, beyond being lovers. Apolaki wishes that she wasn't so hard with herself and Amaterasu wishes that he would find peace. They would often sneak out of meetings to smoke and catch up with each other.

RaㅤㅤHer second closest friend, she appreciates his sense of duty and his honest opinions. She sees him as the ideal ruler, one who does not show even a hint of weakness and strives to be just like him. Ra is fond of Amaterasu, finding her calmer approachable personality quite charming, among the sun gods, she's the only one who he finds tolerable enough to stay in his presence.Though he is quite irritated that she's holding herself back, especially when it comes to her own capabilities as a sun god.

HuitzilopochtliㅤㅤBeing both sun gods, the two consider themselves as allies. Amaterasu puts herself in a distance due him constantly demanding her for a battle, just as he has done to the other Sun Gods. Amaterasu loves his boisterous and passionate personality, finding herself enjoying his stories of warfare even if it's something she has heard for the hundredth time. Huitzilopochitli on the otherhand finds her docile demeanor as something dishonest but noble, he continues to pursue and fuel that fight within her in hopes she could embrace her true purpose as a Sun deity.

HeliosㅤㅤThe two sun gods treat each other as siblings, often sharing the same ideas and fueling each other's shenanigans, mostly to the expense of Ra as he gets easily irritated. Helios finds himself quite fond her, often the one to cheer her up whenever he sees that she is down.

ShamashㅤㅤThe two rarely speak to each other outside of the formal meetings.
