The wondrous infant, born from the left eye of Izanagi, was deemed by the primordial god to be the most perfect of all creations and among the kami. Izanagi and Izanami rejoiced, declaring,

"We have had many children, but none of them have been equal to this wondrous infant. She ought not to be kept long in this land, but we ought of our own accord to send her at once to Heaven, and entrust to her the affairs of Heaven."

She is the representative of the Japanese pantheon in the Order of Veils, a multi-dimensional organization dedicated to maintaining peace, security, and rights of each pantheon. Being considered the Chief deity of Takamagahara.

𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬

Amaterasu takes the form of a beautiful woman with pale skin and a shorter stature compared to her Solar peers. She has long golden hair that reaches her ankles and striking red pupils that have irises akin to black holes. When she experiences stronger emotions, her irises would become serpent-like and slitted.

She is commonly seen wearing a white open chest kimono, black obi with flowery orange patterns, red ruffles, and a long red coat.

𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀

Amaterasu is a kindhearted softspoken deity who finds enjoyment in what life has to offer. She is deeply fascinated by humanity, and is often the most outspoken when it comes to anything that might harm or eradicate them. She is also quite approachable, the kind of deity who does not fear even the most devious of beings. One might mistake her for being completely brave, or cocky, or perhaps simply foolish.

Above all else, she also possesses strong maternal instincts, having nurtured and raised five divine sons which one of whom would go on to sire the first emperor of Japan. She takes fledgling gods under her wing, she would guide them through their early years in the hope of setting them on the right path.

Though deep within her positive outlook, she harbors an inferiority complex, often seeing herself as lesser compared to other sun deities. She has a tendency to downplay her achievements, dismissing them as nothing more than duties she was meant to fulfill.

This extends even to her own kindness. She denies that it is truly hers, convincing herself that she is only “kind” because of her father’s final wish, an obligation imposed upon her through his Divine Authority.

𝑨𝑩𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑬𝑺

Godly StrengthㅤLike any other god, Amaterasu possesses immense, inhuman strength. Apolaki once remarked that if she were to take a fight seriously, she could destroy a continent with her bare hands alone. However, as a pacifist deity, she rarely uses her strength for destruction. Instead, she prefers to grapple and subdue violent gods, hoping to reason with them rather than bring harm.

Godly Speed and Reflexesㅤ While not as impressive as Apolaki and Ra's feats, Amaterasu with her nimble body is seen to be capable enough to dodge fatal attacks so fast that it creates afterimages of her and being able to catch an arrow before it fully strikes her.

Godly Endurance and DurabilityㅤHer body can harden itself to withstand even fatal blows and like any other Gods, she does not need rest/slumber to regain her energy, she can withstand being awake for centuries and can last years in battle without showing exhaustion.

HeliokinesisㅤAs a sun deity, Amaterasu possesses the ability to create, shape, and manipulate every aspect of the sun, from its immense heat and radiance to its gravitational and magnetic fields, raw nuclear energy and reactions, solar winds, and even geomagnetic storms. She can wield its heat to incinerate anything, from inanimate objects to living beings, leaving nothing behind but ash. According to Ra, her raw power is one of the most strongest among the Sun deities, though he commented that it is truly unfortunate that she can't use it to its fullest potential, ultimately making her the weakest because of it.

HeliomancyㅤAmaterasu can employ a method of reading the future, the present and the past by using the sun and solar energies as a focus. She can use her main body as a way to see visions or insights of time.

Divine AuthorityㅤDivine Authority is the fundamental power of all deities, the ability to compel and command concepts, whether they be elements, celestial bodies, or even living beings themselves. While most gods can only influence earthly concepts, some possess authority great enough to command even other gods. Alongside figures such as Ra, Apolaki, Apollo, Shamash, Zeus, Hades, and Nu Wa, Amaterasu belongs to this higher echelon. As the Chief Deity and direct descendant of Izanagi-no-Mikoto, her Divine Authority exists on a far greater plane, placing her dominion above even the strongest of gods. With this power, her words alone can impose her will upon anything, whether commanding something mundane or issuing a decree so absolute that it could compel others to bring harm upon themselves.
