Biography: Mephistopheles is one of the angels who fell during Lucifer's rebellion against Heaven and God. While other fallen angels thought they were doing this for the betterment of Heaven, he saw it as a chance to break away from Heaven out of sheer boredom.

As soon as he became a fallen angel, Mephistopheles began hunting down his fellow rebels, killing them one by one. Unlike the Goetias and Lucifer, Mephisto does not like the idea of legions or ranks, so he roams as a lone stranger in search of his next source of entertainment.

Despite despising Heaven, Mephisto adores God more than anything. Therefore, when Astaroth claimed to be related to a divinity, Mephisto saw it as an insult and something worthy of punishment.
